Azadeh Khajavi, DMD, is a self-employed dentist seeing patients in her office in Rosarito, Baja California Mexico. She offers expertise in general dentisrty, cosmetic and implant dentistry as well as treatments for TMJ, oral neuromuscular problems, and headaches stemming from oral conditions.
After earning a DMD from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1994, Dr. Azadeh Khajavi opened her private practice and worked as a pro bono dentist at the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped in Oregon until 2002. Today, she helps patients primarily with implant and general dentistry. In this specialty, she diagnoses jawbone disease and installs artificial tooth roots for false teeth and bridges.
Since completing dental school and going into private practice, Dr. Azadeh Khajavi has pursued continuing education in oral treatment and surgery, mouth reconstruction, and orthodontics. In 2001, she attained training on TMJ treatment at the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics in Chicago, and she completed a course on full mouth reconstruction at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry in the same year. Dr. Azadeh Khajavi is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, International college of Cranio Mandibular Orthoperidics, ICOI international congress of oral implantology. She is currently a member of the Implant Institute of California.
